Terms and conditions of sale

These terms and conditions of sale govern all sales of Italian artisanal food products made by Gourmethica to any buyer (hereinafter « the Customer ») via the gourmethica.ch website.

Any order placed on the website implies full and complete acceptance of these terms and conditions of sale.

The Customer selects the desired products, adds them to the cart and proceeds to secure payment. The order is confirmed by email after the payment is validated.

Gourmethica reserves the right to cancel any order in the event of a product being unavailable or of suspected fraud, with a full refund to the Customer.

All prices are shown in Swiss francs (CHF). Gourmethica is not VAT-registered; no VAT is invoiced. Gourmethica reserves the right to change its prices at any time; products are invoiced at the rate in force at the time the order is validated.

Payment is made online, securely, via Stripe. The accepted payment methods are:

• TWINT
• Apple Pay (on compatible devices)
• Bank card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
• Klarna
• Amazon Pay

Payment data is processed directly by Stripe and never passes through Gourmethica's servers.

Gourmethica delivers exclusively within Switzerland. Dispatch from Geneva within 2 working days. Delivery in 2 to 4 working days from order confirmation. Delivery charges are calculated as follows:

The general delivery estimate applies to available products. Seasonal preorders are dispatched after the products reach Réalise. The Christmas 2026 panettoni are expected on 9 November 2026; dispatch follows within 3 days of actual receipt. This is an estimate, not a guaranteed delivery date.

An order of preordered panettoni only is delivered for CHF 14.00 below CHF 60, CHF 9.00 from CHF 60 to under CHF 150, and free from CHF 150. An order that combines available products and a preorder ships together, at the fees in the table above. When the Customer chooses delivery in two shipments in the basket, a supplement of CHF 12.00 is added to the fees in the table, once per order, including when delivery is free and whatever the number of panettoni or cartons; this choice is not offered for a gift order.

If you are absent at the time of delivery, the carrier will leave a delivery notice. Gourmethica cannot be held responsible for delays caused by the carrier.

Food products cannot be returned or exchanged. You will not be asked to send the product back. Claims can still be made in the following cases:

• Product damaged on receipt
• Product not matching the order
• Product with an obvious quality defect

No right of withdrawal applies to food orders. Complaints remain possible within 14 days, as described below.

For any complaint, the Customer must contact Gourmethica within 14 days of receipt at the address info@gourmethica.ch, enclosing a photo of the product concerned. A refund or replacement will be offered depending on the case. A product that arrives defective can be replaced without sending it back.

The photographs used to illustrate our Selections are mood images intended to convey the spirit, origin and inspiration of the selected products. The exact composition of each Selection is listed in detail on the corresponding product page, accompanied by individual photographs of each item. Only this list is authoritative as to the content actually delivered to the customer. Some mood images are created or edited using artificial intelligence tools. Prepared dishes, accessories and accompaniments shown in these scenes are not included unless expressly listed in the product contents.

These terms and conditions of sale are governed by Swiss law. In the event of a dispute, the parties undertake to seek an amicable solution. Failing that, the courts of the Canton of Geneva have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory place of jurisdiction under the law, in particular for consumers.
